Visibility
Visibility is the display of an object and the ability to interact with it on the galaxy map, in the Overview, when sending fleets, and in other places. Without technologies, we see objects only within the line-of-sight zone, which equals 1000 diameters of the object. For example, an object with a diameter of 1 km and a station with a diameter of 50 km are located 10 000 km apart: the fleet sees the station, but the station does not see the fleet.

Hidden objects can be detected only via line of sight.

Visibility of coordinates by itself does not reveal hidden objects in orbit. A hidden object must be detected by a fleet or by your object located close enough to it.

Visibility can be extended using:
Radar, Detection Technology, Sensor Spore Colony, or the Fleet Beacon.

If the coordinates are within our visibility, we see all objects and fleets located at these coordinates, except hidden ones. Also, all fleets flying to or from the coordinates we can see are visible.

Visibility across the entire alliance network is shared by all alliance members.

You can send fleets to high orbit beyond visibility, including with expeditions. Each fleet reveals only objects within its own line of sight. Several fleets in different points of the orbit cover more space and increase the chance of detection, but do not guarantee it.

Visibility of an object in the fleet panel reveals the visibility of a hidden satellite. For example, if an attacking fleet flies from a hidden object to your object, or to an orbit where your fleet is located, you see the hidden object.

The Sensor Phalanx does not reveal hidden objects.

At coordinates [9:908:6], high orbit has a special type of visibility: in the Fleet menu, the display of fleets that are on hold in this orbit and do not overlap with your fleet in local coordinates is blocked.
