the issue is i have 10249 fas but in the battle only 985 was protected leaving ships in a battle when some more of them should have hidden

did you have a flight/flights return shortly before attack in which stealths were lost ?? if so were the units lost within that flight/flights ?? FAS is turned off automatically when flights return for a set period of time, any attacks which occur before FAS is automatically reenabled, will take part it the battle
